This test consists of two parts
Part 1 - Multiple choice questions which are done on a touch screen computer in which you'll have 57 minutes to answer 50 questions, requiring a score of 43 to pass. The questions will appear one at a time on the screen along with the answer options and you select the answer by touching it on the screen. Some questions will require more than 1 answer option. When this is required a note beside the question will tell you how many answers to select. When unsure of an answer use the "flag" option. This moves the question to the end of the test so you can quickly work through the questions you are sure of and deal with any difficult one's last.
Part 2 - Hazard perception. This is a series of 14 short video clips taken from a camera on the dashboard to represent a drivers view. These clips will be ordinary driving scenes containing developing hazards which you have to identify. A developing hazard is something that could cause you to change speed or direction. The sooner you recognize and click on the mouse button to register the hazard the more points you score with each countable hazard worth up to 5 points. There may be multiple hazards on each clip but only one is worth points but you wont know which one so click on them all. One clip will contain two countable hazards giving it a possible value of ten but you won't know which clip. To pass a score of 44 out of 75 must be achieved
